Below are some of Seward's best options for lodging, hotels, motels, camping, B&Bs, and cabin rentals. Some listings also provide options for glacier and wildlife vessel tours, charter boat fishing as well as water taxi and kayak package tours into the heart of the Kenai Fjords."

Lodging in Seward's downtown district:

• Seward's VAN GILDER HOTEL is on the National Register of Historical Places. The Van Gilder Hotel is open year round and is centrally located in Seward's downtown district.

• MURPHY'S MOTEL is a family owned and operated business situated about 1/2 mile south of the Seward Boat Harbor and a short walk to the shore of Resurrection Bay.

• The BALLAINE HOUSE B&B has reasonable rates and is open year round. The Ballaine House is a 5 minute walk to Seward's downtown district.

• MOBY DICK HOSTEL is open from mid-April thru September. The hostel is on 3rd Ave and a short walk to the downtown district.

Lodging on the shore of Resurrection Bay at Lowell Point ( 2 miles S of Seward ):

• ANGELS REST on Resurrection Bay has comfortable beachfront rental cabins. Angels Rest is open for business year-round and has handicapped access to one of their waterfront cabins. Angels Rest has an informative web site for trip and activity planning purposes.

• The ALASKA SALTWATER LODGE offers everything from Resurrection Bay beachfront lodging to charter boat fishing, sea kayaking, kayak rentals and a charter boat taxi service to the best destinations in the Kenai Fjords National Park.

• MILLER'S LANDING is a family owned and operated, all-purpose tourist facility based on the shore of Resurrection Bay. Miller's Landing has a large campground, store, waterfront RV parking, boat and kayak rentals, charter boat fishing, boat launch, and water taxi service to most locations in Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords N.P.

Lodge and cabin rentals outside Seward (north of town)

• The WINDSONG LODGE is a large facility located in the Resurrection Valley on the road to Exit Glacier. The Windsong Lodge is affiliated with Kenai Fjords Tours and promote package deals for lodging along with glacier and wildlife vessel tours of the Kenai Fjords National Park.
